Flip & toss

After months of dieting, Toety suggested that we go celebrate! by eating my favourite food – Roti Prata! I haven’t eaten in a loooooong time. I used to be able to eat it EVERY single day when there’s a store in close proximity wahahaha

When it comes to food, if Toety says a place is good for that food, you gotta believe her 100%! haha I actually woke up early and took the BUS all the way to Sin Ming Ave to have it for breakfast before work.

To me, Roti Prata is meant to be eaten fresh off the pan, still piping hot. I usually use the egg+onion trick to get fresh ones especially when the store has a couple stacked at the counter for god knows how long When the prata finally came, woah! just looking at the kosong, you can tell how confirmed it is! After they give it the squish squish when it’s done, you can see the crispy broken bits on top (oooh I like!!)… and yet not overly deep fried. Yumz! The curry is also very gao and spicy, and not dilute like some places. I’m definitely going back there again!!! maybe this friday morning kekeke

Fishy Business

After hearing much raving reviews about this place, finally got the chance to pop by the Greenwood Fish Market & Bistro (next to Lana Cakes). I got lost in the immense variety of fishies, so left it up to the waitress to recommend. I ended up with a char-grilled Black Cod… and… I just couldn’t resist! a Granny Smith Apple Crumble Pie :9
